They are chacterised by the naïve idea that feelings are more important than facts.

Very astute of you, Professor Bratt, to do the research and point out the pattern. I think these people thrive on the attention and sense of empowerment that instigating and leading these movements gives them. That probably means they’re going to harass our public discourse for years to come, unless people tire of them and stop paying them attention.
